    Help a Newbie out

    Hi guys, just new to the website, very impressed with wot Iv seen.
    I just got a shiny new black Wii as a present, and I'm interested in getting the Homebrew Channel. Got a couple of questions tho:

    Is there any difference with the Black model that I should know about before attempting Dell_Xps's Softmod guide?

    I'm needing to buy a SD Card for the tutorial, is there any make or model that the Wii wont recognize?

    Any finally, I'm hoping to play games off of my External HDD, it's made by a company called Lacie, and it's their black 1TB model. Does anybody know if this model is recognised with the USB Loader? Thanks guys.

      softmodding is same as white wii but you cant play dvd-r backups,which wont bother you as you want to play via hdd,
      see if the drive is on this list USB Compatibility List
