Well Star Wars 3 isn't in CK's list Andy. If you Google wii sw3 alot more show for Samurai Warriors 3? He doesn't even say what the problem is or what he's using?

If it is Samurai warriors 3, it's a dual layer game, not an Alt.dol. Try loading it with 222/223. What are you loading ? Have you burned to disc, if so what type disc ?
-r's are recommended and set the layer break to 2084960 and try burning again at lowest speed

Don't give us half the story which games don't work for you?

If the USB Loader works then its normally the IOS you are using.

thanks, these worked great for resort and hotd. 1/3 of my games are ntsc format, including red steel. would this work on that or do i need to find dif. alts? anywhere where i can get them?

My Red Steel is NTFS but I don't have any problems playing it the same with Red Steel 2. I don't have The House Of The Dead but I have The House Of The Dead 2 And 3 Return but only 3 plays 2 just locks up with a black screen. I bought my own The House Of The Dead 2 And 3 Return and installed it on the drive and both 2 & 3 play.

See I do buy games if I like them.

make a folder called alt-dol and extract the alternate.dols into it
then place on root of sd card.start your loader and set alternate.dol route to sd:\alt-dol
when you want to play a game that requires a alt.dol select load alternate.dol let the video play then when it crashes switch off alt.dol and reboot and game should now work fine.you only need to do this once.
if you want these for a different region just change the 4th letter to whatever your region is

Medal of honr dol doesn't work

The thing with Wii Sports Resort it checks to see if you have seen the tutorial video at the start and that logs in the save game. I have an original Wii Sports Resort which I deleted the save game and installed the game on the HDD but it wouldn't play. I played the disc then came back out and it played from the HDD.

These generally aren't necessary any more as usb loader gx will search for the relevant alt.dol if you ask it to but you do needed to be connected to web
