Help Wanted - Only uloader doesn't blackscreen

    Help Wanted - Only uloader doesn't blackscreen

    I'd really love some help with this--a start in any direction is great.

    To sum up, after getting my 4.2U set up, I can play games in uloader (4.1, 4.9). I'm looking at WSR right now.

    The problem is that only uloader works. The rest of the lot (wiiflow, usb hd loader, gx, etc., etc.) go to the black screen. Emulation programs run fine (NES, etc.)

    Where should I start?

          after cios38 rev17, it appears to have the same problems.

          Odd--the installer for the WAD didn't work right (didn't give an option for network/WAD), only asked which 249/etc. then hung.

          Installed using MMM, and same black screens on other loaders. uloader still working like a champ.

              I've have similar problems and I'm starting to think that uLoader is only backup launcher I am going to be able to use. I just hate how ugly it is.

              If it was more like USB Loader GX or Wiiflow, it would be great!

                  try http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...er-1-2a-91685/ and the other loaders are you starting them from homebrew or main menu?

                      No version of coverfloader that I've tried has worked--black screen on load from HBC. Tried the one in the link, too.

                      uloader is the only one I have a channel for, and it works via that or HBC. None of the others work from HBC.

                      edit: now the MMM and other WAD managers (when dealing with IOS249) hang, and won't do anything (locks up).

                          sounds like your cios 249 is corrupt,which tut did you follow?
                          you can try the cios38rev17 installer again and try loading it through ios36 instead of 249 or look in the 4.2 hack in sticky section for wad folder and copy 249 wad and paste into wad folder of sd card and install it with wad manager using ios36

                              re-installed the 249 wad through ios36, and have had better success now. Now, uloader, wiiflow, and the 935 revision of I believe the GX loader work. Cfloader, configurable usb cloader, HD loader, and SD/USB loader still are no-gos. Mostly they load, then lock. But, I'm happy that I have three working loaders.

                              Should I try to re-install anything else for better future compatibilities, or just be happy with what I've got?

                                  three working loaders should be enough,you may aswell leave it at that,the only way we can be sure of getting all loaders to work is remod it again,
