4.2E help!

hi,
i hacked my wii using the homebrew channel stuff. My wii was accidentally updated to 4.2E and now every time i try to load a game (burned on a CD) on the backup loader/homebrew channel or an app on homebrew channel the screen goes black and stays that way until i restart my wii. Also my SD card has suddenly become write protected? can anyone help me sort this out?

u wiil to re softmod mate try this. wii soft mod hack there is also a the MMM hack which does the mod auto for u but cant seem to find the link

just use http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...w-guide-67927/ you will need the homebrew channel installed first if your gonna use the mmm option,homebrew hack is on the same page further down under download bannerbomb.
as for locked sd card just check the lock slider on side of card

if this doesn't help you you can downgrade your sistem back to the one you had if u want I can give you a youtube tutorial link

Be careful about downgrading wii. I'm not saying DONT do it, but ONLY do it if you have proper protection installed first. e.g Preloader or Hackmii.

i wouldn't recommend downgrading from 4.2. i cant see any good reason too anyway. would definatly install priloder and nand backup first

i totally agree with short why would you want to downgrade and risk bricking,and certainly keep away from you tube videos,mod with the easy 4.2 softmod in sticky section install preloader block online and game update,and do a nand backup

ive re-soft modded it, tried a few CDs and it works!
