wii softmod 4.2e

I updated my wii to 4.2e downloaded the files from the easy 4.2e tut from the wii post formatted my sd card to fat(default) extracted part 1 to sd card when i put this into my wii and click the sd card nothing happens is it normal for this to happen i waited for 1 min then had to restart the wii.

can anyone send me the files for this maybe i am doing wrong thing.

you need to install the homebrew channel first you will find that on the first page of the tut just scroll down untill you see download bannerbomb install that then extract part 1 and away you go

I am trying to Softmod my Wii 4.2E ,i have the home Channel and when i try to install wad Manager 1.5 when i get to ios249 and i click yes it just freezes on me.can anyone please help im so close to getting it. thanx
