some games are not working now

My wii has a wiikey 2 fitted and tried to run new mario galaxy 2 back up disc. just got black screen so my son decides to do a wii update to 4.2e After updating some games work and some dont any advice please...

updating to 4.2 disables multi region play so if you have some out of region games they will no longer play

you could look into softmoding, this would not reverse the update as its not recommended to downgrade from 4.2. but will allow u to play ur multi region backups. check out the Wii 4.2E softmod tutorial. Easy to follow guide
