Games wont load from hard drive

Hi All,

I've been playing games off a 16GB memory stick for a while now but my kids have been driving me nuts asking to swap games over. So I formatted a portable 320GB hard drive I use and put about 30 games on it. The usb loader recognizes the drive and the games but after I click on the icon to start the game all I get is a blank screen requiring me to restart the wii. Is this a problem with settings or the hard drive? All the games work from the memory stick just fine.

Hmmm... We probably need more info to help. What USB Loader are you using? It could be the 320 GB HDD that's just not compatible. I am able to play games off a 1 TB HDD using Configurable USB Loader loaded with the 222 IOS. My HDD is FAT and since FAT has a 4 GB single file size limit I use Wii Backup Manager to shrink the file size and even split it if necessary.
