Help no usb device

After having some problems with freezing games i decided to follow the tut (this time using the Multi-mod Manager) again to see if this resolved my problem it didnt !! But now when i load USB Loader GX or neogammer they both wont reconise my HDD (Uloader Does) managed to get the games workin again (wiped the HDD an reinstalled the games) but would like to use Usb loader any ideas why it wont work ??
