    hey,
have just tried to install preloader as advised by other members, due to getting a disc update message on my wii.

When i go to install, it comes back with the msg:
unauthorised to get ticket. is ios36 truncha signed?, aborting mission...

am running 4.2E on a pal wii
attempting to install priiloader rev 32

    any help is hugley appreciated!

Firstly, I would advise reading about Priiloader, I did recommend it as it's your only protection if you can't install BootMii as Boot2
Priiloader & Preloader are seperate Apps

It is recommended that you have a patched IOS70 (for 4.20) before you install Priiloader so as to minimise the risk of any complications (I have done a couple without doing this but thats me)

The Priiloader you are attemping to install is an older version that sometimes caused the wii to be switched on twice before it booted correctly.

This is the latest version Priiloader (r78) and you need the hacks.ini on the root of the sd card

The error code is telling you that you need a fakesigned IOS36, you can install Priiloader using cIOS249 by using the 'B' & '+' buttons on the wiimote.

Hope this helps any thing else just ask.

hmm, well i tried the new one like you said.
using ios36 i get the message
"ios36 not patched with ES_DIverify" .etc

when i try to use IOS249 my wii just hangs...
Could this have been the ios i deleted? :s

        Could be..
        What cIOS's have you installed?

Can't understand why you don't have a fakesigned IOS36? that would have been one of the first things you did when softmodding your wii.
Unless you were on 3.2 or less, what guide did you follow?

It's not a big issue, you can soon fakesign your IOS36.
What i think you need to do is Run either Dop-Mii or Syscheck and get a IOS Report and post the results that way we can see what you have and there set at.

(Dop-Mii, option for scan wii internals)

sysCheck appears to be working... having just said that i think it's just hung too.

anyway the data that it does show is:

              Region: PAL
this system menu v482 is running under IOS36 (rev 3351)
              Hollywood v0x21
              Console ID: xxxxxxxxx
              Boot2 v4.

Getting number of titles... found 59 titles.
              Getting list of titles

found 28 IOS and 9 IOS Stubs on this console.

              Initialising the FAT file system...
              Sorting titles...
Getting the certificates from the NAND... SUCCESS!
              Testind IOS vunerabilities... Please wait...

a green bar has loaded across 3/5ths of the screen
has been like that now for about 10 mins with no change

                Looking at that part result screen i can see you have 9 stub IOS's on a 4.2E System Menu (5 IOS's - 4 cIOS's)
That to me indicates that you haven't installed any cIOS's.

Have you done anything else apart from install the HBC?
                Regards

If you played games then you must have a cIOS - could do with looking at you list of ios's / cios's

try this BB-Syscheck it runs using bannerbomb exploit
Just extract and copy to the root of your sd card and run via the SD Card icon on the menu screen.

No need for that, however in post 8 i linke a dop-mii with wads, download that and copy to you sd card

Run dop-mii from HBC and after pressing A to continue select 'install ios36 with fakesign'.
say 'yes' to all options and choose 'wad from sd card' when asked

                        this will re-install a fakesigned ios36
