I have a soft modded wii and have just got broadband in is it safe to go online on the nintendo network with it. I was going to go online with it but it prompts me to do a offical nintendo update to my will before it allows it.

its safe to go online but dont accept any updates,if you dont already have wii connect switched off then do so,you might also want to install preloader to block disc and online updates
