Wii softmod problem

Guys

This is the first time I have attempted this & think I have made an ass of it.

I was following the guide for 4.2E and did everything upto number 7 without any problems.

7. I could not find any of the stubbed files 222,223 etc mentioned.

7.1 I ran any title deleter again none of the files in system files & could not find them in any other folder. So skipped to 8

8. I ran yet another wad manager and deleted the files there rather than using wad manager. So I reloaded sd card with the files and tried wad manager but it would not install instead I got an error.

Anyone have any idea how I rectify this or what I did wrong?

WII Not playing back up DVD's

I have did the easy install guide now & all seemed to install ok. I can boot games via uloader but my dvd's are not being recognised. I am sure I installed dvdx but not sure, is there anyway to check my fw is 4.2e. Can anyone help? Thanks

Are you trying to run DVD games? If so you will need to install something like DarkCorp to load from the disc channel:

how old is the wii, do u get an error code? could be that if u have a newer wii they dont recognize dvd-r
