softmod on 4.1 black wii

everything went ok loaded the usb loader gx sorted a few game iso loaded ok play great, but for some reason the wii will not play original games and when i try to rip them using the usb loader it says can't open disc any one know what could be causing this thanks

try blowing out the wii and cleaning the optical lens
