Same here
i've even tried a few megaupload links and they are all dead. I think Nintendo have put pressure on people / sites to remove the files. I might try and rent it and rip it to the hardrive.

I've tried thundernews and n ewsdemon recently and both are having problems with older files (anything more than days old).... it's strange b ecause everything was fine until a week ago.... now i'm getting the 430 error message - file not on server.... on using both servers and their various ports/server bname configs.
whats makes it more strange is that it's only older files from 2 groups (so far)
alt.bin.wii and alt.bin.xbox360
the more recent games download ok, but anything older than 30-40 days comes up with that error message. so far i've tried different groups and they work fine. tried two server providers - thundernews and newdemon both had the same problem on the same groups....both allowed newer downloads and older downloads from other groups....just not the two mentioned.... i tried differant software.... newsleecher and sabnzbd+ both work fine...except on the a.b.wiii and a.b.360 groupsand only the older files....
i've narrowed down the problem to either
1. my isp (vermin) blocking only older files - but it doesn'y make sense that they allow others....plus i'm using ssl (although i did try non-ssl server settings as well)
2.those groups older files have been removed.... although this is unlikely as i've heard no onbe else mention it.
Can anyone here let me know if they've encountered similar issues with these two groups a.b.wii and a.b.xbox360 ??
try maybe metroid M from a.b.wiiComment

Hi guys, i am thinking of trying out newsgroups basically for games/films, i've had alook around the internet for a dummies guide, although they have helped a little i'm still unsure, when your chosen newsreader converts downloaded file in what format is it, is a game an iso and a film avi etc? also is there a dummies guide on here anywhere .thanksComment
