super mario galaxy 2 problems

hi

i downloaded super mario galaxy 2 and all i am getting error code 0002.

i own a white wii that has been softmodded by myself well over a year ago. it was the homebrew channel and the wii back up loader. i havent played my wii in ages due to my 360 and ps3.

i downloaded smg3 and burned it on a dvd-r disk.

any help appreciated.

im a complete noob. i have downloaded the the downloader and extracted it. when i try to open it on my pc another window pops up asking what programme i want to use.

any chance of anybody helping me please

i did mention that i am a noob. this is what i did.
1.got sd card and formatted it
2.downloaded the 2 files u mentioned
3.extracted the first one (cios38 rev17)
4.copied the folder and file that extracted to sd
5.put sd card in wii
6.launched homebrew
7.after it loaded up i pressed the home button on wiimote
8.then loaded bootmii
9.screen goes black and the disk drive light is flashing

thats it and after that it does nothing

im REALLY sorry for this noob question but i know i have done something wrong. please help me by giving me a step by step instructions.

first off theres no need to use bootmii.
do what it says on the download page, put the installer folder in the apps folder of sd card,and the wad folder on the root of your sd card which means not in any other folder.start homebrew channel select cios 38 rev17 installer when it starts select wad installation when its finished return to main menu
done.
