help with wii mod

guys just pickup a wii ver 4.1e and wondering with so many mods out what is the best ??? and what to keep away from , where dose one start for the first time mod ?? been looking at youtube and it looks so easy dont been a noob with this dont know if i should try it dont wont a E200 door stop

Easiest thing would be to update to 4.3 then softmod with this guide:

DONT UPDATE TO 4.3 it can be done but its not easy and i means buying or renting indiana jones or super smash brother brawl. try this Digital Kaos - Downloads - Wii soft mod 3.0 - 4.1

i have done quite a few of these, and my advice is not to update any further than the 4.1 you have, nothing in 4.2 or 4.3 were helpful to users, it was nintendo trying to stop modification of the wii.
