Reset Wii Hacked

Hi, I have a wii 4.2E that I want to sell but first I want to erase all traces of the hack above formatted but I wanted to me have advised as this could cause a brick, someone he could me give a better solution for this?

Just do a format within the wii itself and that should be good enough if you want to keep the same firmware. On the other hand if cant be bothered about the firmware, just do an online update to 4.3E and that should remove all the hack.

should ave left it modded mate u would ave probably got more for it if u sold on ebay or somewhere
