PS3 mic on Wii

anybody know if the Singstar wired mics will work on wii, ive already got them, and ive downloaded we sing but my ps3 mics wont work, just wondered if they are compatible, on google some ppl say yes some no
They are not direct usb they are jacks plugged into the usb converter then that into the wii
Running game through external Usb drive, but ive also burnt the game to dvd to see if it was the port on the wii, still same result, just wanted to check before I go buy yet another microphone

no they dont work ive tried them myself its down to the digital convertors that the jacks plug into.
