    Mplayer freezes wii on exit

I'm on 4.3e and have mplayer ce 0.67 installed. I have been able to stream films from pc with no problems at all thanks to ck-ok and his posts but whenever I try to exit mplayer I get a black screen with a load of writing but at the bottom it says reload in 8 sec. then next line says reload but it freezes the wii and I have to hold down power button to reboot. No harm is ever done but is getting a bit annoying and i'm just wondering if this is a known bug and if there is a fix for it yet.

what your getting is a code dump error,it wont cause any harm to your wii,try running it from hb channel and see if it freezes on exit,if it dont then the problem is with your forwarder,if that is the problem uninstall it and search for a different forwarder wad

As usual you were correct about it not freezing when loaded from hbc don't think I'll bother looking for another forwarder wad as I need to have sd card in when streaming from pc anyway. Just another quick one though. On the readme for mplayer it mentions forcing default to 16.9 by adding line to mplayer config but I'm not quite sure how to add the line so the program recognises it. I have tried just adding ratio and whatever the numbers were but it doesn't default to 16.9

You can add the line aspect=1.7778 and MPlayerCE will default to 16/9. make sure you save the changes before exiting the editor.

I'm sure that's what I done but will give it another go. Do I just add the line at the bottom of the page. Cheers for that the readme file says to add ratio=1.7778 but just added line aspect=1.7778 as you suggested and it now defaults to 16.9. No more messing about at the start of every film.
