How do i update my softmodded wii?

I've not used my Soft Modded Wii for a long time and wondered if someone could tell me how to update it? It has homebrew channel etc loaded and i used wii backup manager to load backups of games from disc previously however this does not seem to work with latest games. Wii Party for instance. Is there an easy updater i can use to let me play the latest games? Currently at version 3.3E.

if your homebrew channel is still working then it wont be to hard to get running again follow this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-3-mod-157379/ tutorial from after installing homebrew,if your homebrew channel is not working then your gonna need to fully mod it again with same tut.
oh yeah dont ever let the OH near it again !

Thanks for your responses ck-ok, i've now tried to do the tutorial from after installing homebrew channel.

ie...format sd card again and extract modpack from the folder you downloaded earlier to sd card
run md5summer.exe and click verify sums and check theres no errors.

When i press 'home' from homebrew channel and then select 'BootMii' the screen just goes black and nothing happens. I assume i'm onto a loser and need to get myself a copy of the Lego Indiana Jones game and start from scratch???

          Argh!!!!!!!!!

              keeping softmodded Wii updated

So the best way to keep a softmodded Wii updated is to look for the latest releases of these two apps?

              Thx,
              k-worth

Think i may have got some progress. On the Wii menu i now have:- The homebrew channel, my original backup launcher, usb loader, Neogamma Channel and LoadMii.

When i go into Homebrew Channel i have :- USB Loader GX, Hackmii Installer, NeoGamma and Priiloader.

I can get a couple of my older backup games on dvd to work using Neogamma but an old tiger woods 2010 that worked using backup launcher will load so far then just stop.

Am i better to concentrate on just using USB Launchers now?

                Thanks again ck-ok.

yeah i followed it step by step, and i dont own a motion plus.

Just trying to find if i'm using the correct settings for the neogamma launcher. I dont have a spare usb hard drive to use so i'll have to buy another one to just start using the usb loaders. Hopefully they will work.

try playing it through uloader http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...taller-143444/ you dont need the cios installer you already have that. when you start uloader it wont detect a usb so it will go into disc mode,if that dont get it working you can still use it when you get a hdd

try giving the disc a good clean and try and clean the laser with a lens cleaning cd,if that fail copy the backup with imgburn and reburn it
