Update from 4.1 to 4.2 : Possible through Wii?

Hi, just wondered if I it's possible to update to 4.2 from 4.1 now without using the official updater. I take it that will try to put 4.3 on which I don't want yet until a easier softmod method is found. Can I download the 4.2 firmware and run it from the Wii, or is there another method I could use?

Currently on 4.1e softmodded.

Am I right in thinking this is what I need? Will this update my Wii to 4.2 without messing up the softmod. Will it still work now that 4.3 is out (I don't know if this app pulls files from Nintendo or not).

It does exactly what it says on the tin. safely updates to 4.2 without messing up soft mod. If you try an official nintendo update it will jump 4.2 and put you straight onto 4.3 meaning no more mod and no straightforward soft mod available without using exploit.

I was reluctant to just jump in a use this in case it pulled the current firmware from Nintendo which is no good for me. I know it says to 4.2 but it was written when 4.2 was the main FW I think so ... You get my drift.

Anyway, thanks for the help.
