wii on 3.2e

Hi guys and girls i am new to this site and hope i can get some help with my wii .
I have just recieved a wii on 3.2e before i softmod it should i update to 4.2e official update and then softmod it or softmod on 3.2e and use unofficial update.
And if i use 3.2e to softmod what is the best softmod files and tutorial to use.

Do not use Nintendo update it will bypass 4.2 and take you to 4.3 making softmod much more difficult. Use one of the guides posted for your version then use the 4.2 safe update.Look a couuple of psots below this one and you will see a thread by ck-ok for modmii, that is your best bet.
