Wii 4.3 to 4.2 with NAND backup?!

hello all,

I did upgrade my 4.2e by accident to 4.3e
Now I can't softmod it without indiana jones (and I don't have it :s)

Is there a way to downgrade back to 4.2?
I did the 4.2 softmod on this wii following this guide: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...w-guide-67927/

And during that, I made a nand backup..
Can I restore the NAND backup and go back to 4.2?

I'm not 100% sure but in theory that is the purpose of NAND to restore wii software if it becomes corrupt. I would give it a go but I'm sure you will get a definate answer from someone who will know without having to wait too long

Put the Bootmii, nand.bin & key.bin back on your sd card, put it back in the wii and turn it on, you should be in the bootmii menu.Go to gears option, power, reset & eject buttons are your controls. Hope it works for you, not too sure if the nand restores your sys menu,probably worth a shot, up to you. Think I'd go with the 4.3 softmod, but, hope I'm wrong and it works for you m8.

reddevil: bootmii doesn't load in 4.3

Bootmii with nand will only load if you installed it as boot 2 when you done the first softmod so that it boots before the system menu kicks in.

I would just go with CK's tut for the 4.3 mod or modmii.

By updating to 4.3 you killed your softmod so you'll have no way to restore your nand anyway.Only option is to mod again. When you've finished, make sure you've installed pre/priiloader and enable block online updates and block disc updates, in the hacks, for the future .

Why don't you just hire Indiana Jones or Smash Bros. from the video shop, do the mod and then return them...
