Trying to play this on my softmodded wii, getting black screen after start up from disc, had a few other games done the same so changed to cIOS249[57]-v20 and the others all worked fine, just millionaire game, anyone offer advise on how to get this working ?

Sounds like you need to find the ios the game require's to run.

Nah m8, had a look around, couldn't find it, have you tried a usb loader, way better. Could just be a bad rip.

what version and region is your wii and what region is who wants to be a millionare. A pal millionare game does not force ntsc on a U wii that doesn't have ios56 installed properly.

Mines pal, the game ntsc, so I need ios56 then ? How would I update to ios56 as I seem to be hitting a brickwall with google

Before you go installing ios have you made your wii region free with priiloader and if not go into priiloader setting and make region free everything or patch iso with wii free because no matter what ios you install it won't play onother region.

I'll have a look around and see if I can find a later release m8 I have just tried some of my newer iso's and am getting the same error but the older ones are ok. I know the new iso's are all good. It is a while since I used it as my wii is region free everything through prii loader.

What version is your wii. If it is 4.2 or over launch boot mii and select prii loader manager and set it to region free everything where you set it to block online and disk updates.
After some more digging around it looks like millionare runs of cios 222 or 223 so unless you use a configurable loader to mount the disk drive it won't work on 249 and will still need to be run region free and after all that may still be a bad rip. First thing I would do m8 is download a pal version before you start messing about with settings. At least if you are running the correct region the rest can be worked out.

Thanks for you help buddy, cant find a copy of millionaire 2010 pal anyway ~~~~ it I'll wait for a new rip of it I appreciate your help m8
