    wbfs manager going so slow

    its taking over an hour to transfer each game iso to the hard drive using wbfs manager and nopt sure why it never used to take so long anyone any ideas as to why this is ?

        maybe your hd is on its last legs or is needing formatted.
        also are you using a hd with amn external power supply?
        if not ,it may not be able to draw enough current from your usb port to function correctly.....

        you should make sure your games are backed up....
        it's no fun when a harddrive dies and you loose all your games.....

          I had that problem on a hard drive that was dying. The data transfer rate was all over the place and then it would reset itself.

          Get your games backed up.

            sorted it out i formatted the hd back to ntfs and started again and fingers crossed asll seems to be going well so far

              i thought the hd's had to be formatted to fat32???

                i formated back to ntfs as if i was using it for my pc and started from fress used wbfs to format to correct format for wii iso's and then releaded some iso's to it using wbfs

                i did lose my games currently on the drive but was not that many have been downloading now all day getting the kids there main games back

                  Good stuff, keep the kids happy at all costs.
                  Barrowman, you don't have to format to fat 32, but some reckon it's better.
