complete beginner.

hello,my kids have got a white wii 2 years old.a year ago it was softmodded or chipped,dont know the difference.
software is 4.2e.
wii menu shows,despicable me,forecast channel,neo gamma back up loader,mii channel,news channel,photo ch 1.1,wii and the internet.wii shop channel,mario kart wii
what do i need to do please to play the latest games from a torrent site that i am a member.
have just downloaded imgburn and hopefully burned raving rabbits on a verbatim dvd -rw disc,burn disc at 2 x speed ,all succesful, put the disc in the wii clicked on neo gammer loader and blank screen.
could somebody point me in the right dirrection for next step please.just took me 3 months to conquer my dreambox,hope i can conquer this by christmas day.
thanks,would finally like to be able to download games to a usb harddrive.

dont use dvd-rw you need dvd-r rewiters dont work well.
what colour is the blank screen?

thanks for the reply.screen is just black.have to disconnect and reconnect power plug to turn back on as it freezes .will try burning disc with with dvd-r.

hello,just burned raving rabbits on dvd-r at 4x speed with imgburn,
tried it in the wii on neo gamma back up loader and the tv screen goes black as if its turned off and no response from the wii remote.any ideas please.

Playing burnt versions of some games through neo gamma doesn't work until you have a savegame from the real game on your wii first. I can't remember which game it was like this for me but the save games are available to be downloaded online.

hello,just been reading the readme and install on neogamma r8 final .it says,How to "install" NeoGamma to sd card for use in the Homebrew Channel:
first of all i am going out now to buy a 4gb s/d card.
second i havent got homebrew channel on my wii menu,
do i need to install this first.thanks.
just read sd card 2 gig or less to use.

hi just read some more lnfo,i see i need to buy indiana jones original adventures.
as i am living in tenerife would indiana jones in spanish be ok if i cant find one in english.
