HELP!!! In the sh!t! Broken Wii

    Hi Gang,

My son's wonderful new sparkling red wii for Christmas has fcking packed in!

    Basically, symptoms are -

You can turn wii on by the button or by the wii remote

After boot, nothing appears on screen, TV says "no input detected"....
then the wii remote then doesn't get recognised, I.e. player 1 light doesn't engage....

Have tried taking off the scart connector and plugging in on component connection but still no joy. I am going to try last resort of another cable tomorrow, but judging the fact the remote isn't recognised.. I'm guessing it's a hardware issue.

Am I going to get busted sending this in under warranty? I heard something about the drive LED light flashing indicated BootMii is installed etc?

Is there any way of wiping it? I can't think of any !

    Please help!@!#

    Cheers,

    Phil

No, there is no input, the TV detects nothing.

To your second question, yes and yes. I tried turning it on while holding reset which I think is the correct procedure?

have you installed any wads or done anything that may of bricked it?
try taking the sd card out and unplug any usb devices and try rebooting while holding the reset button.
