Just do the 4.1 softmod, you'll get everything you need on 4.1, don't forget to install pre / priiloader at the end and enable block online and disc updates in the hacks menu.

.............Actually no i'm not...can't find the files......

I have all the files ready to go for a 4.2 softmod...... will it be ok if i upgrade the 4.1 to 4.2, or is this gonna cause me problems?????......think it will be easier for me this way, as i know what im doing already with a 4.2

Actually 4.1 or 4.2 is still OK. Just make sure you hombrew channel is updated. Older version of the homebrew channel will be deleted. Current yersion of homebrew channel is 1.0.8

Only advice re - format. Format as FAT32 first. If cannot try FAT.
Use an external program like Panasonic SDFormatter.
