4.3E Wii (DSI) occured! On first Homebrew stage

Just doing my friends Wii with the Indy game using Sandisk sd 2gig card.
Copied file over ok and started game,get to the silloettes and hackmii starts all ok so far.

Press 1 and results are in,Homebrew Channel can be installed,bootmii channel can be installed.

Press continue for Homebrew channel and get Exception (dsi) occured! log and can go no further.

Tried formatting sd card several times and another card and cant do anymore?

Just got as far as installing bootmii first and having the 4 icons on the front but havent backed up the nand.
Not that certain what to do,im guessing the Wii doesnt like that version of hbc for some reason.

Going back to game now and will try hbc again,but will be very surprised if i get a result.

Can i load the hackmii folder onto a spare sd card and load it through bootmi on the sd icon??

Ive got the contents up and it says Wiiload bootelf,bootmini elf etc?
If i press wiiload will this install hbc?

Tried that,installed bootmii and went back to hbc install but got same dsi error.
Tried to put hackmii 0.7 on spare card and loaded through sd icon in bootmii.
It loaded but wouldnt let me press the 1 button on controller or any of the other buttons.

Also tried updating again to see if that helps but nothing.

Looks like im stuck

the hackmii installer should have boot.elf and bootmini.elf and a private folder.

This Wii has never been modded and is on 4.3e and i have the game.

Do you suggest i install Bootmi and back the nand up first?

I swapped the sd cards over with hackmii 0.7 and tried that but got the same dsi error up.

Im at a loss,from what ive googled its a software problem and happens with other programs and not just hbc.

The 0.8 hackmii folder has the files that you have said.

uninstall bootmii then start the whole tutorial from the very beginning try installing bootmii first then homebrew then nand backup

Ive backed up the nand but how do i remove bootmii??

Still no hbc but have got mmm installed is it possible to install hbc through mmm in app manager or add pimp my wii or something similar that will add the hbc.
Im clutching at straws here for an easy fix.

glad you got it going,sorry i couldnt help anymore but had to take the wife out, god know how you did it but you still needed a game to get bootmii on there in the first place.
thats the great thing about this forum you learn something new every day
