You will have to try and work out how much space you lose with the format. Remember your drive will not be 2tb so you will never be able to get to 2 1tb partitions. The size you see on the box is the physical size of the drive not the actuall size once formatted. It is very possible that you will lose approx 10% of the phisycal drive size once formatted and partitioned. If you work it out you will be able to get one 1tb partition and the other partition will be whatever is left...Approx 800gb if you lose 10%

What operating system are you using and have you tried the partition tool from that ck gave you a link too in the other post. Ok just had a quick look at other post and answered my own questions just use the partition tool already in xp that's what I used when I split my 1tb into 3 partitions 1 in wbfs 1 ntfs and 1 in fat32 look at this guide it is very easy to follow How to Partition a Hard Drive with Windows XP | eHow.com if need be format them to ntfs when creating partitions then try wiibackup manager to format to fat32 after you have you have the drive split

have you converted the wbfs to iso?

have you set the drive as active

quick question ck having not used a fat32 partition myself. Will the wii read an iso from a fat partition instead of a scrubbed wbfs meaning no need for alt.dol. Not trying to hijack the thread it just popped into my head.. sorry

try running gx from homebrew channel first
make sure hdd is plugged into the bottom usb port if the wii is lying down
