usb loader gx v2.0 problem

could anyone give me a some help with the new usbloader gx 2.0 i did an upgrade through the older usb loader and it wouldnt load after from the wii menu, it keeps returning to the wii menu screen so i installed the new version but when loading from the wii menu again it is doing the same i can load it from the home brew channel but not the from the wii menu ive missed something i installed the forwarder but still the same any ideas would be gratefull Thanks

Think for the first time you have to load from the homebrew channel but after that off the forwarder channel is ok.

Did you put the forwarder wad into your wad folder on sd card and install using wad manager?

I have the same exact problem. I tried both the channel wad and the forwarder wad. Both just drop back to the main menu. I've uninstalled the channel/forwarder with the data manager and with WAD manager. Still does the same thing after re-installing... I'm about ready to smash my head against the wall.

Did ye do a fresh install, as in, delete everything from the old GX including config file.

Installing IOS58 fixed the problem for me.

Fix for USB Loader GX channel returns to wii menu

So was install ios58 the fix for the usb loader gx channel returning to the wii menu? In addition to deleting the config folder?

I've uninstalled the channel via 'any app remover' in HBC. Then deleted the config directory via SD card. I could remove all files but not the directory for some reason. I tried installing ios58 via hbc 'ios58 installer' but it hangs my wii when trys to download the IOS58.

Try this - install IOS58 from the Homebrew Channel, then you will need to re-install the homebrew channel again over the top of the old one, this worked for me.
