bricking a wii is very rare and there is just no chance of bricking it following the 4.3 tut.
there are was of recovering from a brick if you are lucky enough to have bootmii saved as boot2 with a nand backup or have priiloader installed with a nand backup all this is included in the 4.3 tut and is very easy to do dont worry just get stuck in
