Are you trying to install an original game disk?

If your wii is a red, black or new white one(shipped with wii sports resort) chances are you have the newer type dvd drive.
If you are trying to install a burnt disk with the newer type dvd drive then the drive will not read it (they have been produced specifically to not read burnt dvdrs).

Hi yes it is a 4.3E and it is one of the older white ones 9about 3.5 years old. Cheers. It is possible as I used the m5 mod pack that all i may need is the required cios and ios as wads as I have Wad Manager that were part of the pack. Any help would be appreciated.

you loading it from where you load whe wii games ? on main screen

Hi, yes I am loading GX loader from the main menu via a channel forwarder, I load up GX and I insert the original disc and then use + to add to the drive but the screen just goes white and eventually comes up with the message 'not a wii disc'. The game shows up on the disc channel top left and will play fine . But it will just not install in wiiflow or GX loader. I may have to do the whole 4.3 mod again possibly apart from the Indiana Jones part of the hack as that has been done. Hopefully though someone can come up with just the wii iso's and cios in wad form so that I can load them using the wad manager that I have installed. Cheers.

Why not just delete gx and then download the latest version and reinstall just the loader if doesn't work with a forwarder try a full channel Digital Kaos - Downloads - usbloader gx r938 full channel this one works but i uploaded this a few months ago and will be newer version out there. I have stopped using gx in favour of uloader..What game are you trying to backup and have you tried to launch the game from disk with gx

Hi, thanks for the reply. I deleted GX Loader and reinstalled the latest version with a forwarder wad it had the same problem it wont install any original game also the game will not launch from disc inside GX (or Wiiflow which I also installed). I also tried uloader which worked ok but again wouldn't play or recognise an original or back up disk when i inserted it in the drive. The drive itself works fine when not in these programs and will load originals and copies as I have a wasabi dx chip installed. It is weird as when I first did the 4.3E modpack it all ran fine. I am wondering if a new game has updated the ios or cios and caused this glitch. Also I have homebrew installed but the system will not allow the homebrew browser to work so I have top use wads or put apps in manually to the apps folder. It would be helpful to have the exact list of ios and cios that the modpack you mentioned supplies as this would hopefully sort the problem out as I have Multi Mod Manager and could insert them again. Thanks again!

if you installed all the wads with no errors from the mod pack of the 4.3 tut then its not a cios/ios problem.
you have only just mentioned you have a wasabi chip fitted which i think is your problem, if im rite the chip slows the drive speed down which causes problems for usbloaders when there trying to backup your games too hdd,try taking the chip out or download your backups and use wbfs manager to install the iso's.

did you do a nand backup when things were running ok? if so then reinstall that.
if you didn't then why not install all the wads from the wad folder of http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-3-mod-157379/ this will give you all you need to play backups with the best combination of ios/cios's.

Hi thanks again, I have already reinstalled the nand and the problem was still there. However I will definetly try and load the cios and ios as you said, but the only thing is that when i ran the verify sums program to install the wads etc again it did not verify as I have added other ios and updated some. Failing that I will try and find the cios and ios as wads once I know exactly which ones i need after some research. Cheers!!
