    my system is a 4.2u

my hd is formatted to wbfs - that is the only partition

I am also using usbloader gx

I am trying to load original game disks to my hd, not burns

my wii isnt new, it is ~ 2 years old, but I recently had the dvd drive go bad and it was replaced at a local shop, so it *may* have the newer chipset, but I dont think that would make a differance with original games

try updating gx to latest version if your running it from hb channel with a forwarder you can do this from the gx settings if your running a fullchannel then you will need to download the latest full channel.

if your still struggling the loader may be locked switch off parental controls on the wii then start gx enter the settings find parental controls enter ab121b and change the code to blank.

heres a link for downloads and some videos on gx http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=149922

Hi, just thought I'd let you know that the hdd is installed and works a treat with GX loader and I had no problems backing up games on wii and via wbfs. All thanks to you lads on here. Top 1 nice 1 sorted. I'm going to try the patience of the poor people on the PC problem forum now as my bleeding laptop is playing up and I cant update or download, its on vista, which is latin for crap I think.
Thanks again lads and ciao for now.
