I just got my Wii softmod done a couple of days ago and I'm still trying to figure everything out. So far I've gotten everything set up on my own but the one thing I can't figure out is how to or where to get games in a wbfs format so the the WiiFlow USB loader that I'm using will recognize the games. If anyone has links to a wbfs converter or some way to get this working I'd really appreciate it.
New to this. Looking for games in wbfs format.

I've tried using a wbfs manager but couldn't get it to work for some reason. Is there one you suggest? Also tried using Wii Scrubber when making backups of my games but it keeps saying "Can't find key.bin". Sorry for being such a nubie...Comment

Ok that one worked. New problem though... I get an error message "Error while loading drive. Make sure the drive is not in use or open and that it has been formatted to WBFS format."try a different version wbfsmanager - Release: WBFS Manager 3.0
The thing is it is formatted correctly (by the program) and I even managed to load one game. But now when I try loading any other games on the drive that message comes up. I've checked the online help for the program but there doesn't seem to be anything useful.Comment

make sure you have .Net framework latest version It is a free download from M$, you can Google a download of the framework. If you still get an issue afterwards, swap usb ports and try right clicking WBFS and run as Admin, just to check.Ok that one worked. New problem though... I didn't know anything about a .net framework so I haven't downloaded one or know what it's for. I've rebooted several times, used 3 different usb ports, and even reformatted the drive. I made sure I had the latest .net framework (which I did), rebooted my system, plugged my drive into every USB port on my system (rebooting between tries), reformatted the HDD in wbfs format again, and ran WBFS manager as admin with no results. My drive is a Western Digital and someone e-mail me saying that it's possible you can't use a WD HDD with the WBFS manager due to some type of programing on the drive. Shouldn't formatting it clear ANY information on the drive?
+rep to ck for sticking with me on this!Comment

you can also try formating to fat32 using this Digital Kaos - Downloads - easeus partition magic and use this to move backups over Digital Kaos - Downloads - wii backupmanager 0.3.beta1 using gx uloader or configusb loadersigpicComment

I reformatted the drive into the FAT32 format like you suggested and it seems like it's working. I've managed to get 3 of my games on it now using the Wii Backup Manager. Thank you so much ck for all your help! I'm just going to have to cross my fingers and hope that everything continues to transfer correctly.try checking here too see if your drive is compatable USB Devices Compatibility List - WikiTemp

Well the easiest way is to use WBFS Manager 3.0 90% of the games you download are iso format any wbfs files I have I convert to an iso with Wii Game Manager v1.5.0.2. A WBFS formatted drive is accepted by all of my 3 USB Loaders.Keith
