    Help with my USB

hey guys im currently experiencing a problem with my USB flash drive, it's a 4GB HP v195b and the problem is when i put it into my home computers or laptops it is not recognising it and i am unable to use any of the data on it which i urgently need. It doesn't even come up with the autoplay box just absolutely nothing apart from the little beep that your computer does to say that you've put something in. The weird thing is it used to work on my laptop and computers but now it wont, the only place it will work is in my college on a Apple Mac and I don't want to have to fork out for one just to get some files but I don't want to lose my work.

Any help with this problem would be much appriciated.

    Cheers

you've formatted it to crapple only format..
    youll have to re-do it
Insert the drive in the Mac and start Disk Utility (Utilities folder).
Select the drive in the left column. Be sure to select the drive (all the way to the left) not a volume (indented below the drive name).
    Select the "Partition" tab.
Set "Volume Scheme" to "1 Partition" (not "Current" even if it's already one partition).
    Click the "Options" button".
    Select "Master Boot Record".
    Click the "OK" button.
Enter a volume name (all uppercase).
    Set "Format" to "MS-DOS (FAT)".
    Click the "Apply" button.
    Fave replies from various threads

1: What the fff is all that about??? All that crap below your reply I mean, get a life mate
2: no info on google abt the pace sv5 rang asda they have no idea what i was talking about,
3: Your total contribution to this forum, bordering on trolling, seems to have been a collection of snipes, one liners & asterisked expletives
