go on to there forum and ask , tbh talktalk are g8, but there modems are shit , i got a dg netgear off ebay for a tenner , up graded top dgteams custom software and its fantistic.
you can also ask them to change your profile , on the netgear one you can do it youself.Comment

Talk-Talk broadband is worst of time and money, because the server keeps going off most of the time and I have lots of friends complaining and nothing will boost the Talk-Talk broadband speed, people have them because of saving few pounds.
Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

I have talk talk broadband, and in all honestly it's not too bad.
I get a download speed of 8mbps which is quite good, I have 40mb per month allowance, and in the past when I have gone way over it I have never been contacted about the usage. My service never gets throttled either. So allround that is pretty good to me - and all for next to nothing.
It does however drop connection from the server about once a day for the last 3 weeks for some reason. Funnily enough it did only start about 3 weeks ago --- but hey ho, you can't have it all. well you can but it costs spondoolies.Comment
