how do i get dvds onto ps3

hello i was wondering is there a easy way to get my copied dvds onto ps3. tried dvd decrypter and they came out at over 4 gb then converted them to 700mb avi which took over an hour using vidomi. is there a quicker easier way of doing this.

not really, just different variations on software, it al takes abut the same length to convert vobs into avis

Do you know PS3 media server (PMS)
if your ps3 is a part of your local network
install PMS on your PC, share the folder of your dvd and play it by streaming it on your PS/

Note that PS3 hard disk is in FAT32 that not allow files bigger than 4 gig... if you don't know

Second vote for ps3 media server, will stream 1080p mkv files (depending on pc spec) straight to ps3 via ethernet
Also any file on hdd or any optical media.
