Hi PS3ers my boys talking changing the HDD in the PS3 for a biger hard drive does 1 any no if its possible to clone the hard drive on to another one Thanks in advance......COME ON ENGLAND..... DOH sorry the thread says PS2 HDD it should PS3 HDD my mistake fat fingers.....

could just back up onto memory unit swap over hdd to bigger one and move the backup onto new drive

ye just like keefy7 said m8, get an external drive plug in via usb, run the backup manager via the ps3 settings, remove old drive, insert new drive, install firmware then restore backup from your ext hddsigpic

the drive is sata mate, the firmware can be downloaded form the sony website, pretty easy to install just follow the onscreen instructionssigpicComment
