Restore PS3 System

my ps3 system software is 3.56
if i do a "restore PS3 system" from the menu
what system software will be restore

the same 3.56 or a previous version like the first when i bought it

you can only restore from a backup , but if you do a sytem restore it will restore to the same fw version, which if you are on 3.56 at the moment then you will remain on 3.56,

thanks i thought i could restore system to factory default and after install cfw 3.55
