You no longer need a dongle. You just update your PS3 to CFW 3.55 kmeaw.
Check PS3 Hacking For Dummies for simple instructions.
NOTE: Only consoles with software version 3.55 and below and install hacked fw. -

there is a dongle coming out nicknamed true blue or jb2 which may work for you, hope this helps
