had you got your PS3 connected by HDMI using a HIFI receiver will sound not work through your HDMI link? I'm thinking of buying a ONKYO receiver that has about 5 HDMI links, but i'm puzzled as to how you would pick up sound and picture.I have 3 HDMI on my TV 1 for ps3 1 for VERMIN BOX & 1 for XBOX. So how the hell would i manage HDMI sound i'm really baffled by it. Would i use a junction box? Until i can sort it in my head i'm afraid to spend the money. maybe i i just aint got the where with all to figure. Suggestons would be helpful.

can you not plug them all into the onkyo reciver thingy then take one cable from that to the tv and all sound will work, if you have an optical input on your tv and one on the reciver it will all work, i have 2 opyical leads going into my lg dvd player and one coming out, one from virign box and one for ps3, you can get optiacal junction boxes no bother off ebay cheap
