LA Noire working on PS3 custom firmware

According to reports a patch has been released which allows the top rated game LA Noire to work on custom firmware for the PS3.
The patch allegedly allows a copy of the detective game to run on CFW v3.55.

Some say this is a blow for Rockstar but personally I doubt they are really that worried.

I can confirm that this WILL indeed play. Im running kmeaw 3.55 rogero 8.2, followed the instructions in the patch file and works a treat!! Rather large game tho(25GB).

People have reported probs trying to play from external hdd, and as mine is on the internall hdd cant confirm.

As i said,WILL work on 3.55 internal
