Free games on the ps3 query

I installed the latest update on my PS3 a few days ago, previous to that i had LINUX installed. Anyway i signed up to the online gaming, then a few days later when i went for a visit to curries, one of the staff asked me if i downloaded my two free games (which i didn't know about). He told me how to download them but when i click on the welcome box nothing happens. Can any of you guys tell me how to download the. Would i need to install my bank details in order to copy them down? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR REPLIES.

no no you dnt need to give them any bank details ( im never putting mine in ever again )

you have to of been a member b4 sony went down in aprill if not then you wwont be able to get the free games

Not available to me unfortunately, just realised its been a while since i've been on ps3 network. I use xbox as well. Thanks for your posts.

why not available to you??? so long as you were signed up to a psn account beofre 20th april 2011 you will be entitled to the free games

I think you have to download the playstation plus welcomeback thing first

Tried thee above, can't even access the 30 ps3 plus. Have to accept it just isn't for me.

Did you try this:

• log into your account through the ps3
• go to account management
• Transaction management
• Services list
• Click on playstation network promotions
• click on ps3/psp free games
• Click on the games you want
• Start downloading

Hope that it works

you can download burnout paradise ive downloaded that 5 times on 5 different console with new accounts

Just discovered a little ditty, the last time i was online my user name was baldrick94 that was a fair while ago my emails from sony still come in that tag. I was a big fan of linux but can't be arsed with it any more so therefore formatted my consul and started all aver again as it is i can't remember my password for that username but if any of you guys want to tell me recover my pass word that might do the trick. Aside from that if any of you want to hop over to belfast in a helicopter i can assure you you will not be able to download these free games. thanks for your assistance chaps.
