I just want to install Linux on it, i also would like to add ntfs and mkv support and put some emulators ...it is not about going pirate with my games (i have an original collection and i like them that way) is just expand a little further the experience with the console... would it be possible in the near future?

i think that now is posible but you must modify physically your ps3...it's dangerous...google true blood dongle and see what they say...
