are they not the same as notebook hdd 2.5 inch and am i right in thinking it needs to be fat32 or the ps3 wont recognise it and is yours external or internal

                many thanks

yes they are the same as notebook hdd's 2.5' but its the height that is sometimes different as far as i remember the hdd has to be under a certain height 9mm to fit in the ps3 hdd cradle if internal. some notbook hdd's are 9.5/10 mm high adn will not fit in the ps3 cradle
if internal ps3 will format the drive to its own file system.

if external can be any usb drive 2.5 or 3.5 and yes fat32.

afaik some drives need to be on internal, some games need to be on external and some games will play from either.

just tried marvel vs capcom from fat32 usb pen drive but would not start so just going to copy it over now to see if it will run that way do you know of a list if there is one that says wether the game needs to be on internal or external and as my disc drive wont read discs will this cause problems sometimes as i read somewhere about a disc in the drive sometimes
