you could fix it, but it wont last long in the end itll happen again, and youll have to buy a new one anyway, sell it on ebay for spares use the money towards a new one

i fix them all the time once its fixed sell it and buy a slim gilskey i blive does an excellent step by step guide you only need a heat gun a screw driver and some new thermal paste for the chiparoo
once they go once there a time bomb get it backed up yo!

i had 3 fat of ps3 and all my ps3 are RLOD so i'm nice suggestion boss

just google ps3 ylod and youl find loads of vids gilskey does some real good ones watch and learn mate

if you fixed it back it up it will go again sell it while its working and buy a slim with the moneys about ?120 on ebay
