Hello.
After trying most of the available services, I would recommend PS3 Media Server PS3 Media Server this works on both my fat and thin PS3 plus Xbox 360, Samsung Tv and LG Tv.
The current version is 1.5 and works on PC, Mac and Linux. The software is java based which does mean it occasionally crashes because of memory overflow, but the server is easily restarted.
