playing new games on jailbroken 3.55

Hi All...

I've got a jailbroken ps3 on 3.55, is it possible to play the latest games on this without updating the firmware ??

My nephew is having for xmas fifa 12 and the new cod mw3, I was gona have a quick go prior to wraping them up but said I had to update the firmware in order to play !! Is there any way around this ? as if I update I will lose my jailbreak ??

google dual boot ps3, theres an exploit that lets you run 3.55 and 3.7 or whatever sony's latest fw version is. dnt keep up to speed with it like i used to, as i just buy the games now
