ps3 black screen

hi ive got a ps3 here that show nothing on the screen with either hdmi or av cables but if show up when i put it in to the recovery menu any help greatly appreciated thanks calhib

since you mentioned recovery menu i gather youve tried to reset the video settings?

fixed it now cheers needed a whole restore and new software

same problem, black screen, no video or audio and controller continues to flash for roughly 15 seconds when trying to connect. Any solutions other than reset video settings available?
