PS3 CFW 4.0

Has a 4.0 CFW been released yet does anyone know? Ive seen many claims but I am dubious.

I think it's very unlikely that we will see any new firmware for the PS3 now. There are quite a lot of claims about CFW 3.56+ but none are legit.

The best you can hope for is to get a ps3 with 3.55 OFW and use a True Blue dongle to play the latest games.

You can downgrade some 3.73 & 3.72 OFW ps3's using progskeet hardware.

Well Jailbreak 3.72 ,3.73 and 4.00 seems to be running around the net but you will either have to do a survey or put in a password to unlock the pup file. Many people on youtube try to convice you that they have it working. I have my doubts as well.

mate it doesnt matter what it says there is NO 4.00 CFW there either a virus the ones ur on about or a modded 3.55 file which is useless
